Registering With Us
You can pop into either branch of Drs R Us in order to make your registration process easier and quicker and therefore allowing you to start your locum placement sooner
The information provided is in strict confidence and will not be used for any other purpose in line with the 'Data Protection Act'.
We are a registered body with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) , and can conduct a CRB check for you. All doctors working within the NHS have to have a CRB check, if you need an application form please drop into either of our branches or simply phone up either of the Branches and we will send out a CRB application form to you with an application pack.
We aim to make registration with us as easy and efficient process as possible.

You can either register on line or download a registration pack and send in with your CV and the required documents to the admin office.
Registering Online
What happens next?
- You will receive an automated email to confirm you have correctly registered online
- A placement officer that specialises in your chosen area of locum work, will call you to introduce themselves and go over what documents need to be supplied to us
- An email will be sent with a list of required documents, placement officer name and any other useful information. (Please check inbox, as will as Junk/Bulk mail)
- Send in your documents and filled application pack
- Sit back and wait for the locum positions!!!!!!
Registering by Mail
- You will receive a phone call to confirm your documents have been received by the placement officer in your chosen Area of locum work.
- Sit back and wait for the locum positions!!!!!!
Rates
Drs R Us offers some of the most competitive rates in this field coupled with regular locum opportunities. Our locum rates are transparent to both doctor and hospitals. Simply ask! We operate a weekly payroll. So you can reap the financial benefits of locum work as soon as you start.
Accommodation
Our placement officers work hard to ensure that we provide suitable accommodation for all Doctors. To enable us to locate the most suitable housing for the duration of your working period please inform us as to whether you require Married, Single or Family accommodation. All accommodation will be situated close to, if not within the grounds of your employing hospital. Accommodation will be provided free of charge*.

Travel
Drs R Us aims to make the transitional period of all our doctors run as smooth as possible. One return journey* (23p per mile/saver/2nd class returns) will be paid for. If you are not confident of travelling within the UK, please do get in touch with your placement officer who will be more than happy to plan routes and journeys for you.

GMC Registration
At present all Doctors who wish to work in the U.K. are required to register with the GMC. The exact conditions that govern your application vary depending upon your nationality.
